hey yinz, meg here, welcome to my sacred space. i'm so glad you're here! i want to tell you first a few things about ordering and purchases specifically (if you're interested about me and my art journey, check the "about me" tab!).
ORDERING YOUR ART & COLLABORATING WITH ME
though we may not be making this art together; i still want to collaborate with you! there are a couple of ways we can do that together:
1. it's important to me to give, more so than to receive, so 8.88% of the *list price* of every item will be given to an organization supporting communities. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SELECT WHERE THIS GIVE BACK GOES, PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THIS IN THE "NOTES" SECTION OF THE CHECKOUT SCREEN! if there is no organization noted, then the give back organization will be one of the artist's choice; a receipt of the give back will be included in your shipment. some organizations i like to give to include my local (here, in pittsburgh, PA) community food bank, mutual aid efforts, as well as gofundme campaigns for persons or families in need.
2. i like to personalize the back of my art pieces with a song lyric or a poem or book quote. i'm happy to choose something for you on my own as a little surprise when you receive it. HOWEVER! i would also love it if you wanted to provide a lyric or a quote, too. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PROVIDE A LYRIC OR QUOTE TO BE WRITTEN ON THE BACK OF THE ART PIECE, PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THIS IN THE "NOTES" SECTION OF THE CHECKOUT SCREEN! if there is no lyric or quote noted when you checkout, it will be the artist's choice and you'll get a surprise. ;)
so, to recap - every piece comes with 1) a 8.88% of the list price donation, and 2) a lyric or quote written on the back. if you want to collaborate on these choices, DO SO IN THE NOTES SECTION OF THE CHECKOUT SCREEN; otherwise, i'll take over and make some choices for us myself!

HANGING YOUR ART
you might notice in the product descriptions that an art piece can be hung in multiple unique ways - some pieces can be hung in two unique ways, like an 8"x10" canvas that can be hung once vertically and once horizontally; some pieces can be hung in eight unique ways, like a 12"x12" board that can be hung 4 ways as a diamond and 4 ways as a square - depending on the design.
for this reason, i do not sign my art on the front of the piece. i want you to be able to decide in which direction you like it best. and who knows, maybe you change your mind every season and want to rotate it around... or back again, or up or down or left or right or on a diagonal here or a slant there. the point is - it's made with options and i want you to have those options available, so, you'll find a signature on the back instead of the front.
also, i try to make my pieces on surfaces with a frame - like stretched canvas or wood boards - so that it comes with a little built-in ledge on which it can hang on a nail so you can display it right away without getting it framed. therefore, in not wanting to choose how you hang it in your home or office or bathroom or whathaveyou, then that means the back of the piece doesn't come with any specific wiring or hanging apparatus built-in. (in *some* instances, i may offer pieces on canvas boards (so getting it up on the wall is all up to you!); but, it is rare.)
ORDERING AS A GIFT
so i'm still new to the website game and trying to figure out how to add some options for sending art as a gift in the checkout screen. for now, if you would like to purchase a piece as a gift for someone else AND HAVE IT SHIPPED DIRECTLY TO THEM RATHER THAN TO YOU FIRST, then here are a couple steps:
1) in the "shipping" section, PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR EMAIL HERE, not theirs - this is so the receipt for purchase from the site goes to you (and not them!)
2) in the "notes" section, please make note that this is a GIFT (i will be sure to wrap it up with a celebration bow); if you would like a special gift message included, let me know your message in the "notes" section as well and i'll make sure it gets to them.
SHIPPING POLICY
orders are processed and shipped via USPS priority mail with tracking within 3-5 days after purchase. tracking info will be provided via email.
RETURN POLICY
all sales are final. i provide product descriptions and pictures to help you make an informed decision - i'm also available to answer any questions you may have before purchase, don't ever hesitate to reach out!
